Welcome to my humble attempt to raise my and your awareness about how to learn. I do not pretend to know anything, however!
Knowing how to learn is one of the most valuable life skills. Unfortunately, little effort is applied to teach this, surprisingly.
Frequently, we assume that we know, but in reality, we do not.
Nassim Taleb defines this as Epistemic Arrogance, also, he designates an Epistemocrat as someone of epistemic humility, who holds his own knowledge in greatest suspicion.
The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

In this era of massive data creation and consumption, if you’re not careful, you tend to fill your head with the garbage, the noise of society, which makes you incapable of thinking.
Your mind is miserable and unclear and you are assailed by superficial thoughts.
It is the mind which is tranquil and free from care which can roam through all the stages of its life: the minds of the preoccupied, as if harnessed in a yoke, cannot turn round and look behind them.
— Seneca
Make sure to read my previous post:
Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Yet, in spite of the ubiquity of the phenomenon, there is no word for the exact opposite of fragile. Let us call it antifragile. Antifragility is beyond resilience or robustness. The resilient resists shocks and stays the same; the antifragile gets better
— Nassim Nicholas Taleb
The fittest to survival are antifragile, they take shocks, fail, fall and rise much stronger.

In this article, I will discuss about Krishnamurti’s philosophy and offer you some of his best quotes, since it is influenced by my own opinion, my mental model, you should (always) be skeptical about what you read, as Krishnamurti says so well and repeat it over and over again “Truth is a pathless land” !
First, for the people who don’t know him, let’s paste a Wikipedia description:
Jiddu Krishnamurti (/ˈdʒɪduːkrɪʃnəˈmɜːrti/; 11 May 1895–17 February 1986) was an Indian philosopher, speaker and writer. In his early life he was groomed to be the new World Teacher but later rejected this…
Rust is becoming popular for it’s performance and quality of code, some believe it could replace C++ which is “dying of ugliness”.
I was working on building a REST API with Rust and Mongodb and couldn’t find a decent tutorial so I decided to experiment and build one myself, I hope it will help other Rustaceans that were in the same case than me.
In this tutorial we will use:
In this tutorial we will assume that the reader is familiar with Rust and Linux, otherwise you…
When you are using Google Cloud AI Platform batch prediction, launching a job takes an input path (where multiple inputs are placed) and an output path (where it will put the result in files).
The problem is that you can’t link the output result to its input, so I needed to pass the key in input to the model and each result will have the key allowing to find back which input it was.
I couldn't find a solution on the internet myself so I had to implement it modifying Tensorflow Models tools, I hope it will help people that…
I’m glad to announce the end of my master thesis.
When the first humans reached Australia about 45,000 years ago, they quickly drove to extinction 90% of its large animals. This was the first significant impact that Homo sapiens had on the planet’s ecosystem. It was not the last.
